the garden pages \ part 1
Have you ever been in love - With yourself, with another, with the world around us? You could say that I was deep in love during this period while also at SFSU a focusing on studio photography. The Garden pages document the love given to land and cultivation through a multigenerational effort by my partner Gust and his Yaya. Each was born with a brilliant green thumb.
These analog photographs were taken in San José, California, capturing a season of growth, love, and devotion. There are three iterations of the pages. 1) The digital form you see today. 2) a self-bound copy of printed scans. 3) the original binding of collaged prints and saved remnants from the garden.
